Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Remix Camera ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service immediately.

2. Description of Service

Remix Camera is a subscription service that lets you upload photos, train a personalized AI model, and generate AI portraits and remixes inside the app. We continually iterate on features, so the Service may evolve without prior notice.

3. User Content and Ownership

You retain ownership of all photos you upload. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to host, process, and transform the images solely to deliver the Service. We never sell or share your photos outside of fulfilling your order.

• You must have the rights to each image you upload
• Content must comply with applicable laws and be free of offensive material
• You may not upload, generate, or request images of anyone under 18
• You can delete images from your library at any time

Violating these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, loss of access to the Service, removal of your photos and other content, forfeiture of unused credits or entitlements, and any other action Remix Camera deems necessary.

4. Payment, Shipping, and Refunds

Charges are due at the time of purchase or renewal. Subscription access is delivered digitally in-app. If something goes wrong, contact support so we can assist or offer a refund when appropriate.

Subscription plans include a monthly generation allowance. Unused subscription-included generations do not roll over and expire at the end of the applicable billing period. One-time add-on generation credits apply immediately and, under our current policy, do not expire while your account remains active and in good standing. Credits and other entitlements are not cash, have no cash value, are not transferable, and may only be used within the Service.

Referral, promotional, bonus, free, or other non-purchased credits are subject to eligibility rules, abuse controls, and limits, including a maximum of 10 rewarded referral signups per account per day unless we state otherwise in writing. We may withhold, deny, reverse, deduct, expire, cancel, or revoke any credits, rewards, referrals, promotions, or related entitlements if we determine, in our discretion, that they were obtained through manipulation, self-referrals, duplicate or coordinated accounts, suspicious signups, false or misleading activity, technical abuse, violations of these Terms or our policies, or activity that otherwise undermines the integrity of the Service.

If we suspend or terminate your account because you violated these Terms, our content or platform policies, applicable law, or the policies of app stores, payment processors, AI providers, hosting providers, or other platforms we rely on, you may lose access to your account, content, subscriptions, unused credits, trainings, and other entitlements without refund, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We may change credit, rollover, expiration, refund, and entitlement rules prospectively at our discretion. If a change is material and notice is required by law, we will provide notice and cancellation information as required. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under applicable law.

5. AI-Generated Artwork

Portraits are AI interpretations of your photos. While we aim for delight, results can vary. Generated content is provided "as is" without warranties regarding accuracy, realism, or fitness for a particular purpose.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

We safeguard your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Data is only shared with trusted vendors required to provide the Service (e.g., Google, AWS).

7. Companion Chat

Companion Chat provides private conversations with AI-generated characters. The characters are not people and their messages are generated by artificial intelligence. We may process and retain your messages, character relationship history, generated media, feedback, and compact facts derived from conversations to provide continuity, personalize future replies, operate billing and safety controls, investigate failures, and improve reliability as described in our Privacy Policy.

Companion Chat is limited to adults. When you submit your first Chat message, you must confirm that you are at least 18 before the message is sent or a direct Chat relationship is created. That account-level confirmation is reused across Companion Chat, mature media, and other age-restricted Remix Camera surfaces. You may not use Companion Chat to request or produce unlawful, exploitative, non-consensual, or underage sexual content, evade moderation, impersonate a real person, or manipulate another person.

Companion messages and generated outputs may be inaccurate, inappropriate, or unexpected. Do not rely on a character for medical, legal, financial, emergency, or other professional advice. Image requests may use free allowances or paid image credits; the applicable cost is shown before a paid request is submitted.

8. Prohibited Uses

Do not use Remix Camera to:

• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights or privacy
• Upload, generate, request, or distribute images depicting anyone under 18
• Attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with our AI systems
• Exploit the Service for commercial resale without written approval
• Manipulate referrals, credits, promotions, account creation, device signals, location signals, IP addresses, payments, or other Service systems to obtain credits, rewards, discounts, access, or other benefits improperly
• Scrape, crawl, spider, harvest, copy, index, benchmark, train on, or otherwise extract any part of the Service or its content—including public pages, prompts, metadata, model outputs, profiles, packs, or APIs—whether through bots, automated tools, non-human traffic, or manual bulk-collection methods—without Remix Camera's prior written permission. You may not bypass robots directives, rate limits, access controls, technical protections, or other measures intended to prevent or limit scraping. This prohibition does not apply to search engines or other automated agents that comply with our published robots directives and are verified by recognized bot-verification systems
• Submit harmful, harassing, or otherwise unlawful material

We may suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, revoke access, forfeit unused credits or entitlements, and take any other action we deem necessary in response to violations of these Terms, without refund to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. API and Automated Access

Remix Camera may provide API keys and documented interfaces for approved automated use of the Service. API calls act as the owning account, use that account's credits and plan limits, and remain subject to these Terms, published documentation, safety controls, and rate limits.

• Keep API keys and other credentials secret and revoke them promptly if compromised
• Do not bypass rate limits, moderation, access controls, billing, or usage restrictions
• Do not expose API keys in public client software, repositories, or shared character files
• Do not resell API access or operate a competing bulk-generation service without written approval
• Only submit source images and requests you are legally authorized to process

We may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue API features, models, quotas, or compatibility endpoints. Unless we separately agree in writing, the API has no guaranteed uptime, response time, or continued availability. You are responsible for your integration's security, user disclosures, and compliance with applicable law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Remix Camera is provided without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that arise from using or inability to use the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect new features, policy changes, billing changes, or legal requirements. If we make significant changes, we will post an updated date above and provide additional notice when required by law. Continued use of the Service means you accept the revised Terms.
